Christmas Card Time!

It is never too early to think about Christmas Cards… at least I don’t think so!!

I remember when my older kids were young… They would run to the mailbox during Christmas season to try to get the Christmas cards out. We would play a little game of what do you think is on this Christmas card! Basically meaning we would guess if it was a picture of the family, a horse and sled, Christmas tree… Etc. etc.

My kids absolutely loved getting Christmas cards and we would take them and hang them around the Archway that separated our living room and dining room. When people include pictures and or/one pagers about their family, we would put them in this little wooden sled that I had.

Christmas cards became a very important part of our season. They connected us with family and friends who didn’t live close, and  put us in the spirit of Christmas, with those who did live close. I have always loved Christmas cards… As a matter fact I still have some saved from like 30 years ago.

So when Basic Invite came and approached me about writing a blog about their Christmas cards, I was super excited. I want to make a disclaimer here, I do not get paid to write blogs.. I have never gotten paid, I have however; gotten product. My reason for not getting paid is I do not want to be a “paid person” when I’m writing my opinion. I do however; ask for the product, so that if I am going to talk about the product and/or recommend the product… I’m doing it because I personally have seen the product and tried the product.

This particular part blog is going to be a three parts blog!Part one is going to be about the ease of using the website, and ordering from the website. Once I receive my cards, I will write about the cards themselves, their quality etc…

One of many things that stand out to me is that there is Over 500 Christmas card and holiday card designs!

Here are a few more awesome reasons, I am excited about these cards!

Almost Unlimited Colors – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This is what we feel sets us apart from almost any other online stationery company and is what we feel is our biggest draw.

Custom Samples – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes – Basic Invite is just as colorful with our envelopes as we are with our invitations. Customers can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to their envelopes so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of our envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed without licking a single one.

Address Capturing Service – Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders.

Foil – Foil holiday cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.

I love that it is a one stop shop as well, soooo many options… I take my card buying seriously, and from what I see on their website they do as well! They have taken much of the stress out of buying cards.. because it’s very well laid out and easy to see!
