December is the Season of Giving! We hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving! We’re now in the month of Christmas!! Last weekend, we went to the arts and craft festival 2 days in a row in Longwood, Florida. We had our Team Awesomism booth and sold A LOT of our handmade items! Proceeds go to help 5 autistic adults/autism families in need! Next two weeks will be equally busy for us, as we have several more events. All of these events are equally important to us.
We have a LOT of special things going on during the Season of Awesomism! And we are so glad you are joining us during this season! Earlier this year we were honored to be asked to be a part of an awesome event coming next April! We will be revealing more of the details soon.
Please check out this video below where Peyton ask you to shop small, as well as shop for a cause during the Season of Giving! Link: The Season of Giving
Head over to teamawesomism.com and purchase a product in our Team Awesomism Country Store today! Too often we talk about shopping small but instead shop what is easy. However; Team Awesomism has made it easy and allowed you to shop small. What’s more important is you are shopping for a cause!
We’re so excited to announce that we are collaborating with Rose’s Natural! 20% of the proceeds go to help autistic adults and autism families in need! Each of these items have been hand-picked and used by Team Awesomism. We highly recommend them. Perfect to give as a gift, or for yourself.
In 2 and a half weeks, Team Awesomism will be handing out Christmas gift bags full of essential items to homeless adults. If you would to sponsor a bag, you can go to our tip jar and tip us $10.00!
Looking for an easy and inexpensive centerpiece idea? Here’s two quick ideas: take a bowl fill it with greenery, berries and Christmas bulbs. In the center, add a fake candle, and you have a pretty decoration!!
Another idea is take a Christmas placemat, a figurine, a Christmas ornament, a couple of candles, and a vase. Fill the vase with berries and pinecones. Add greenery, pinecones and berries at the top, and you have yourself a nice centerpiece! You can add twinkle lights to brighten it up!
Here’s a recipe blog titled Love, Anxiety and Hot Cocoa I wrote several years ago that is perfect for the Christmas… as well as winter season!
1. Use dry and well-aged wood
2. Make sure the damper or flue is open before starting a fire
3. Clean out ashes from previous fires, check out the chimney to make sure it’s cleared
4. Put a safety screen to reduce the risk of burns
5. Make sure the area right around the fireplace is clear
6. Keep an fire extinguisher on hand
7. Have a carbon-monoxide detector These are some safety tips! Hope you enjoy your fireplace as much as we do with ours!
Thank you so much for reading this! We hope you have an awesome holiday season this year! Happy late Thanksgiving!
Lastly, but equally important, Please pass this on to 5 of your friends!
